Appliances like freezers or refrigerators, washers and dryers are good storage space. Make sure that all appliances are clean before storing bedding, towels and clothing. Wipe a few drops of oil on bicycles and tools as a rust protector. Place assembled tables top down on floor with legs pointing towards the ceiling. Never wrap leather furniture with plastic! Secure bed rails with rope or tape and label all bed pieces for easy assembly. If your shipment is going into storage then you should dispose of boxed foods. These items can attract rodents and insects.
